😈 Another scam from Trump, or how Trump took money from suckers for their morning coffee
The account
@realtrumpcoins1 is an account that sells physical coins and silver partners of the Trump Organization. Trump follows them. So when a post about the $GOLD token came out from there, people assumed it was "official
The token was launched on Solana in the morning. Before the hype even started, the layout was obvious: the dev held 600 million coins, plus 15 fresh wallets bought another 224 million for $18,000. In total, the team held 82% of the entire supply
Then the account posts "Trump Digital Gold," a picture with Trump, the contract. The market cap flies up to $60–66 million. Lookonchain immediately points out that the team holds 82%. While people are still buying, the posts are deleted from the account. At that moment, the connected wallets start dumping into the order book
The 15 new wallets dumped their 224 million and took roughly $330,000 (from $18,000 about 17x)
According to EmberCN, the team later sold all of their 82% 824 million tokens and withdrew about 9,784 SOL, which is roughly $1.01 million
So the confirmed exit from token sales is about a million. Not tens of millions as influencers are writing on Twitter
After the dump, the same account posted that they took $8.2 million from "dumb Trumpists" and would put it toward a bounty against the family, including Barron. That's according to the hacker's words, but I checked on-chain and didn't find confirmation for that. In the threads, people also wrote about snipers and pump fees some were throwing around $4–10–14 million, but Lookonchain and EmberCN don't show amounts like that
After the dump, the Twitter account kept trolling the buyers. The Iranian version is floating around Twitter because of the bounty on Barron a few days earlier, Iranian TV had just aired a segment about the $10 million bounty on his head. There's no proof yet, but the tone of the posts fits that narrative
Now the account has been recovered, and everything about $GOLD has been wiped. The Trump family has not confirmed this token. Eric previously said outright: if a coin with their name is launched without them it's fraud.
Anyway, nothing new -just crypto
