Colossus Complete — CrossFi Enters a New Era

Colossus is a network-wide initiative to eliminate stake centralisation and put control into the hands of the community.

Over the past 30 days, the Colossus initiative has fundamentally reshaped the CrossFi network architecture.

Here’s how it happened — step by step:

🔍 The Problem

8 “default” CrossFi validators held too large a share of MPX.
This posed a threat to decentralisation and fair consensus.

✅ The Solution

Step 1. We voluntarily recalled 3,000,000,000 MPX from our own validators.
Step 2. We launched a 30-day Native-Staking Sprint:
Stake XFI → Earn XFI → Get MPX bonus.

Step 3. We distributed 4 million MPX in bonuses — and then burned the exact same amount to avoid inflation.
Step 4. The remaining 2.92 billion MPX was split in half:
🔥 1.46 billion MPX permanently burned
🫂 1.46 billion MPX redistributed to the top 20 community validators

🏆 Network Heroes

* Digital Alchemist received 450 million MPX for contributions to staking, community work, and governance
* 19 other validators earned approximately 57 million MPX each
* Evaluation was based on 4 metrics: XFI staking, uptime, governance activity, and community impact

🛡 New Rules

✅ A single validator can hold no more than 10% of MPX
✅ Any validator can now burn MPX via an open on-chain function
✅ Future DAO proposals must respect these limits
