JUST IN: OpenAI says its AI agent spent funds from an Ethereum testnet wallet it discovered online.

The agent found a publicly shared recovery phrase for a wallet holding test funds and used it to pay for its task without the owner's permission.

The incident took place on Ethereum’s Sepolia test network.
