the Zipcoin / zc lore is real. here’s what is actually verified.

Vitalik’s September 27 Snowmoon update introduces a fictional privacy currency used for everyday payments, reputation-backed loans and secret communications. characters even burn zipcoins to get anonymous messages noticed. “zipcoin” / “zc” appears 29 times across 9 chapters.

addressing the two main concerns rn:

“but Gladias was already tokenized months ago?”

yes. Gladias was already a character in the early chapters, which were public months ago. that’s where the older Gladias narrative came from. neither “zipcoin” nor “zc” appears in the older five-chapter version we checked. they appear in the newly uploaded material, starting in chapter 6.
