Participants joined us with no previous knowledge of Russian and, by the end of the session, were already recognizing Cyrillic letters, reading their first words, counting in Russian, and using simple phrases through interactive space-themed activities.
This workshop was especially important for us because it allowed CosmoRide to test three MVPs at the same time:
🔹Teaching international students Russian through space, exploration, and international cooperation.
🔹Retraining English teachers in Russia to become teachers of Russian as a foreign language and giving them new professional opportunities.
🔹Developing engaging educational materials that make Russian more accessible, practical, and less overwhelming for beginners.
We were excited to see how learners responded to the format, activities, teachers, and materials. Their participation and feedback will help us improve the program and better understand the needs of both students and educators.
