die zeigte, dass Antiparasitika das Krebswachstum hemmen, und hielt sie über ein halbes Jahrhundert lang unter Verschluss.

Eine ganze Generation der Krebsforschung wurde 50 Jahre lang auf Abwege gebracht, und Millionen von Krebskranken haben dafür den Preis bezahlt. Motive dafür waren u.a. die preiswerte Behandlung. Man wollte die teure Standardbehandlung beibehalten.

In the 1950s, the CIA classified a Soviet study showing
that antiparasitic drugs inhibit tumor growth as secret and kept it under wraps for over half a century.

An entire generation of cancer research was led astray for 50 years, and millions of cancer patients paid the price. Among the motives for this was the desire for inexpensive treatment. The goal was to maintain the expensive standard of care.
