Autechre is just around the corner — and we’re announcing the support acts!

On 1 October, the British electronic duo Autechre, formed in 1987 and widely regarded as one of the most influential and innovative acts in experimental electronic music, will perform in Belgrade for the first time at Ložionica. Over nearly four decades, their sound has evolved from early techno, electro and hip-hop foundations into a radical, boundaryless form of sonic architecture.

The event will be supported by MDX and Jan Nemeček:

MDX is Andy Maddocks, founder of the cult Manchester label Skam and a longtime figure in the Gescom/Skam circle around Autechre. During the duo’s 2026 European tour, he will perform alongside Autechre as touring DJ support, presenting a selection of experimental electronic music.

Jan Nemeček is a Belgrade-based sound designer whose work combines ambient textures, deep sub-bass and experimental electronics with analog synthesizers, granular synthesis and deconstructed recordings.
