In March 2026, Dutch police posted blurred CCTV photos of 100 suspected fraudsters on billboards, motorways and social media, giving them two weeks to turn themselves in before being publicly unblurred.
34 surrendered voluntarily. 40 more identified via 500+ public tips. 6 arrested. Youngest suspect is 14 years old and the average age is 22.

The victim was contacted by a caller impersonating Ledger support, which ultimately led to their seed phrase being compromised and the funds being stolen.
Multiple people from the "Com" are attempting to take credit for the theft, but it is currently unknown who is actually behind it.
