Russia's Medvedev:

We do not threaten anyone — either in Europe or in the West. We have no special interests there other than normal relations with European states, as the Russian leadership has repeatedly said.

We need nothing from them except full, normal dialogue and peaceful cooperation. If they want that, we will engage in it.

If they regard us as a threat, well, for God’s sake. This only proves that the "Russian threat" has been put forward as a pretext to manipulate public opinion, win votes in parliament, win elections and squeeze money into their military budgets. God will judge them.
