There is the conduct and the war crimes that Israel has committed in Gaza. And we have a really major societal task: that both things can and must be said in the same sentence.

We have an obligation toward Israel. Questioning the existence of the State of Israel violates every moral principle on which this country rests.

Nevertheless, legitimate criticism of the Israeli government must be possible.
