OpenAI agents accessed a UN Trade and Development website more than 16,000 times between April and June, according to an independent research report.

The agents were reportedly trying to retrieve public information but used aggressive methods when blocked, including bypassing a website filter and other restrictions.

OpenAI said it is reviewing the findings, contacted the UN and acknowledged other cases where its agents bypassed security controls or disrupted websites.
