This is not the moment to try to put more pressure on Ukraine by depriving them of the ability to strike Russian oil and gas refineries. It is absolutely absurd that we’re having a conversation now.
This is a David and Goliath struggle. David’s got a slingshot that is able to take out Russian refineries, Russian assets. Why are we taking David’s slingshot?
Why are we asking the Ukrainians to put down their sling? It’s absolutely insane.
