China's J-36 sixth-gen fighter was spotted on daylight test flights again today.

It's a massive tailless, three-engine stealth aircraft (~22m long, 50+ tonnes) — up to five prototypes are now flying with visible design changes between them.

Recent developments include a structural mock-up shown Sept. 15 and a ~100 kW airborne laser system displayed alongside J-36 imagery at a Beijing expo.
