A kamikaze drone that hit RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus contained Russian-made Kometa-B navigation hardware.

This is the first evidence of Russian military equipment appearing in the Iran-related conflict in the Middle East.

The drone attack (March 1) is believed to have been carried out by Hezbollah from Lebanon.
