I don't admire Putin, but I have to admit that he is a person who brought Russia out of a very deep valley of tears.
Russia at the end of the Yeltsin era was completely sold out. It was criminal, dangerous, poor, humiliated. The state was in decline.
Now, when I listen to my government, Russia is going to conquer the whole of Europe if we don't take care. So obviously it worked.
On the other hand, I don't want to live in Russia.
