Russia's Foreign Minister Lavrov:

Mr. Wadephul, the German foreign minister, says: "I met with Lavrov. I made contact, and nothing came of it. Therefore, we will continue firmly supporting Ukraine."

He read from a piece of paper the official position that Germany has been broadcasting to the entire world through every microphone and other device for years, condemning Russia for unprovoked aggression and so on.

If he now describes this meeting as an example of willingness to engage in dialogue, then German logic has clearly begun to limp under the current elites.
