Türkiye’s AKINCI drone scored a direct hit on its first firing with ASELSAN’s new MGK (MORFOZ) guidance kit over the Gulf of Saros.

MORFOZ turns standard general-purpose bombs into glide munitions.

It features folding wings for standoff range, INS/GNSS navigation, an 8-channel CRPA antenna for GPS jamming resistance, selectable impact angle (including steep/vertical dive), and real-time telemetry back to the launch aircraft until impact.

The test adds the MORFOZ Guidance Kit to AKINCI’s already extensive arsenal of 20+ indigenous munitions, from MAM-series smart bombs to the ÇAKIR cruise missile and İHA-series supersonic missiles.
