Ribbit is such a nice character, and though she was teased a lot during previous episodes, introducing her and instantly taking her away was both cruel and narratively weak. They tried to basically squeeze all the depth of her personality in just a few minutes, then switching to conflict, and back to Jax, and… It was a very strange writing decision at the least.
