Dear @cioxqi hope u like it.
For months, you had been wondering who was going to move into that ridiculously luxurious house across the street.
Finally, after what felt like an entire geological era, construction was finished. Now they were decorating.
And it wasn't just you who was curious.
The entire neighborhood had become obsessed.
Who owned it? A billionaire? A celebrity? A politician? A mysterious European aristocrat hiding from the tax authorities?
Everyone had a theory. It had basically become the neighborhood's favorite form of entertainment.
Then, one afternoon, the owner finally showed up. A ridiculously expensive car rolled into the driveway, complete with a license plate so suspiciously perfect that you were convinced the man had personally negotiated with the government.
The door opened. The owner stepped out. And for a brief, beautiful moment, everything went into slow motion.
You watched the figure step out of the car. Your brain prepared itself for some sophisticated billionaire in a tailored suit.
A famous politician. Maybe a business tycoon. Perhaps even a mysterious international criminal.
Instead… Shorts...Bare legs...And enough leg hair to qualify as independent vegetation.
You blinked...Once...Twice.
“...What?”
The man turned around.
You nearly stopped breathing.
Oscar Piastri.
The Formula 1 driver.
Oscar. Freaking. Piastri.
Your eyes widened.
“NO WAY.”
You looked at the giant poster on your bedroom wall.
Oscar.
Then at the real Oscar across the street.
Oscar.
Poster.
Oscar.
Poster.
Your brain was running a verification process like a malfunctioning airport security scanner.
Meanwhile, the rest of the neighborhood slowly lost interest.
Apparently, nobody cared.
They'd been expecting someone important. A politician, perhaps. A billionaire. Someone whose arrival required a press conference.
Instead, it was just some Australian Formula 1 driver standing outside in shorts.
People shrugged and went back inside.
Idiots.
Their loss.
You, however, understood the historical significance of this moment.
You couldn't waste it.
You bolted out of your house.
You ran.
Not jogged.
Not walked quickly.
RAN.
You ran with the determination of someone who had just spotted the last helicopter leaving a zombie apocalypse.
“Oscar!”
He turned.
Too late.
You had already reached maximum velocity.
You slammed straight into him.
WHAM.
You both went flying.
There was a brief moment where the two of you were airborne, probably questioning every decision that had led you to that exact point.
You hit the ground.
Oscar stared at you.
You stared at Oscar.
Silence...
Then, somehow, your first thought was:
“could u sign this for me?”
Oscar looked at you like you'd just tackled him and then asked for his Wi-Fi password.
You immediately pulled out your poster.
“Please.”
He was still visibly processing the fact that a random neighbor had just sprinted across the street and body-checked him.
But apparently, fear was an excellent autograph motivator.
He grabbed the marker.
Signed the poster.
And handed it back to you with the speed of someone completing a hostage negotiation.
“Here.”
“THANK YOU!”
Oscar nodded.
Then he left.
Fast.
Very fast.
You watched him disappear toward his house.
You looked down at the signed poster.
You had done it.
You had survived.
You had obtained an Oscar Piastri autograph.
For free.
You didn't need to spend money on race tickets.
You didn't need VIP access.
You didn't need a paddock pass.
You simply needed absolutely no dignity, questionable sprinting technique, and the willingness to tackle your new neighbor.
Was your relationship with your new neighbor completely ruined?
Probably.
Did Oscar now think you were insane?
Almost certainly.
Did any of that matter?
Absolutely not.
Because you were standing there holding a signed Oscar Piastri poster.
And, frankly, that was a financial transaction in which you had paid absolutely nothing.
Best neighborhood investment of your life.
