🇸🇦🇾🇪⚡️ — The CEOs of ExxonMobil, TotalEnergies, Shell, Chevron and BP have been removed from the agenda of the WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh following deadly Houthi (Ansarallah) attacks on the Saudi capital, Reuters reports.

The executives had been expected to attend the conference, which began Sunday, but were absent from the updated schedule released Monday. Saudi authorities proceeded with the event despite heightened security concerns.

Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman assured attendees that their safety remained a priority but acknowledged that "our gathering here does not mean the risk is gone."
