🇺🇸❌🚢 After Kpler reported that some shipping companies and ship captains may be paying Iran tolls for safe travel through the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. Treasury added 17 new oil tankers to its sanctions list for transporting Iranian hydrocarbons.
While most tankers exclusively anchored in Iranian ports, the other tankers on the list like the GAS MARAKUA and ZIXUAN, for example, who are under Iranian sanctions as well, transported Emirati and Qatari LPG and crossed the Strait of Hormuz through the Southern/Omani Lane.
