Images published by OSINT sources today appear to show Ansarallah forces reaching the summit of Jabal Habashi, west of Taiz City. Shortly afterward, Saudi media reported that Ansarallah fighters attempted to advance into the Al-Nawazil area, west of Al-Misrakh.
The encirclement of Taiz is now 20 kilometers across and the territory still controlled by the Saudi-backed Presidential Leadership Forces (PLC) is primarily comprised of Jabal Sabir, the highest mountain in Taiz governorate, peaking at over 3,000 meters.
