🇮🇱🗳 The Israeli Knesset voted to ban Arab parties from running in the upcoming elections.
Polling showed Arab parties were going to gain at least 10 seats in the next election and would have been according to the polling firm, either the 4th or 5th biggest party in the Israeli Knesset and thus would have swayed significant influence over the creation of a new Israeli cabinet and could have blocked important legislation discriminating against Arabs from being passed.
The Israeli Supreme Court might overturn the decision.
