Delcy Rodríguez about the reunion with Trump

We held a historic meeting with the President of the United States, Donald Trump, during which we discussed strengthening the bilateral relationship between our countries and advancing a cooperation agenda in strategic areas such as energy, mining, security, and other matters of common interest.

We expressed our gratitude to President Trump and his administration for the firm support provided during the emergency caused by the earthquakes of June 24th, as well as for their support for our country's reintegration into multilateral forums.

Venezuela and the United States share a historical relationship, and in this new stage, we are committed to guiding it through dialogue. We will continue to promote diplomacy in service of the national interest, with the aim of achieving concrete results and collective benefits for the Venezuelan people.
