Amazon has $50 billion in OpenAI and, apparently, expected its talent to sign AI waivers to match. Cage refused — and says he's probably done working with the studio because of it.
This is the same Amazon that cancelled *Spider-Noir* last month despite 2.6 billion minutes viewed and 11 Emmy nominations, so the relationship was already complicated.

He also announced a *True Detective* season from the Comic-Con stage — apparently news to his agent, who was somewhere in the audience. Variety was there for all of it.
