🎮 Tetris vs. the White House

The Trump administration launched Arcade.Gov — five browser games including a Flappy Bird clone and, the star of the show, "Build the Wall": a Tetris knockoff where players "protect the border from the coming horde."

The Tetris Company responded in two beats: warmly first — "Tetris brings people together, not divides them" — then notably cooler, adding it "takes copyright infringement very seriously." No lawsuit yet, but the lawyers are clearly awake. Sega, also featured on the site, is still quiet, per The Verge.

Forty years of Tetris, one lesson: lines are supposed to disappear. Someone in the White House skipped that level.
