Ryan Reynolds — Jackman's co-star in *Deadpool & Wolverine* — bought Welsh club Wrexham AFC in 2020 and helped take it from the fifth tier to the Championship. Now Jackman appears to be eyeing a similar move of his own.
Speaking to TalkSport, Jackman said he has supported Norwich City since childhood because the city is his mother's birthplace. The club currently plays in the Championship — England's second tier — and has repeatedly won promotion to the Premier League only to be relegated the following season.
Asked about rumours he was preparing to buy a significant stake, Jackman said:
"I'm very, very interested… and talking about it right now."
Norwich's last major trophy was the League Cup in 1985. Talks are ongoing.
