Enzo Fernandez is heading from Chelsea to Man City for £125m — matching the joint-British record set when Liverpool signed Isak a year ago.

The Argentine joined Chelsea from Benfica in 2023 for a then-record £107m. The club now gets that back, plus £18m. This is already City's second record deal of the summer — Elliot Anderson cost £116m — and manager Maresca, who worked with Fernandez at Chelsea, clearly hasn't forgotten.

Medical is a formality, per BBC Sport. Fernandez missed Chelsea's last two games — reportedly at his own request.
