Microsoft launched the Xbox Series X25 — a collector's console for the brand's 25th anniversary, translucent green, uniquely engraved, Halo included. Retail: $899.99. Already steep.
Pre-orders opened August 27th. By the next morning, eBay had its own, less festive auction running: bundles clearing at
$2,500–$2,800, the standalone controller fetching $185 against a $79.99 retail price, per IGN.Microsoft's official note called this collection "our way of celebrating the community." The community celebrated right back — and flipped it for triple.
