Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan's group is behind StringZ Holding RSC, which holds 49% of WLTC Holdings — the company behind World Liberty Financial's proposed US trust bank. A Trump family-affiliated entity owns another 38%, the Wall Street Journal reports. The OCC granted preliminary conditional approval on Aug. 14; final sign-off is still pending.
