🌌 When a phone beats a telescope
The Capture the Dark 2025 astrophotography contest just wrapped up. Guess who won the People’s Choice Award? A 12-year-old kid from Canada, Siddharth Patel — he snapped a comet over Ontario with nothing but his mom’s phone. 📱✨
Other winners brought pure cosmic magic: comet C/2023 A3, a “star highway,” rare red sprites, and even a scorpion under moonlight.
The point? It’s not always about a $10k camera. Sometimes it’s just about timing and vision. Turns out, the universe fits right in your pocket.
