📼 A VHS tape... with a modern twist inside!

Retro wizard david83k turned a regular VHS tape into a working mini video player — complete with an LCD screen and MP4 playback. Looks totally vintage on the outside, but inside? Full 2025 vibes.
He started with a cheap promo LCD board from AliExpress, then carefully gutted the cassette, removing all the tape while keeping the authentic VHS look. You’d never guess it hides modern tech.
Fun fact: the whole build cost about the same as a VHS back in the day (adjusted for inflation). From clunky VCRs to this — we’ve come a long way.
If Doc Brown watched tapes in 2025 — this would be it. ⚡️
