Protests in France: city halls breached, barricades erected, radicals chanting "revolution."
The government anticipated today with great trepidation. Everyone knew that the yellow vests, schoolchildren, students, and anyone else dissatisfied with the declining standard of living would come out. And, of course, the far left, professional rioters. Currently, there is confirmation of city halls being broken down in Marseille, Lille, and Bordeaux. The rioters then began destroying and smashing everything they could reach inside the city halls. The seizure of the city halls didn't last long, and when the police arrived, the rioters quickly fled.
A police station was attacked in Marseille: hundreds of masked men in black smashed windows. Throughout France, numerous cars and buildings are burning, and radicals are erecting barricades. They're also looting stores, attacking fast food restaurants, and banks—as they call them, "symbols of capitalism."
The far-left militants have been meticulously preparing for today's protests: communicating through closed social media, carrying several Molotov cocktails and batons in their backpacks. The police have already detained 272 people, and it's not the end of the day; there's still evening and night ahead. It's all the same as it was during the Yellow Vests, the same system.
Mélenchon, although he condemned the violence on the streets of France, praised the youth and drew parallels with the protests of May 1968 (when de Gaulle was toppled).
Today, thousands of radicals took to the streets of France, prepared to clash with the police.
