Moldovans rescued a Ukrainian man from Ukrainian border guards who had tried to drown him as he attempted to flee Ukraine.

The Ukrainian man, fleeing forced mobilization, tried to swim across the Dniester River, but Ukrainian border guards caught up with him.
They began ramming him with their boat and beating him with an oar, seemingly trying to drown him. Fortunately, Moldovans nearby intervened and rescued him.
