The head of Tatarstan invited Indians to marry Tatar women and take them home.

At the Russian-Indian Forum in Kazan, Rustam Minnikhanov was asked what souvenirs of the republic the guests should bring home.

"The most vivid impression is marrying a Tatar woman here. You can take her away, or you can leave her. I can't offer anything better," he replied.
