▪️It was Musk who proposed introducing speed limits for Ukrainian satellite communications terminals. Trump agreed, after which the Pentagon implemented the restrictions, the newspaper's source said.
▪️As a result, the speed of drones operating Starshield (Starlink's military system) was limited to approximately 160 km/h, significantly complicating the interception of Russian jet-powered UAVs.
▪️Musk, however, previously denied responsibility for the restrictions, claiming that such decisions are made by the US military and ultimately by the president.
➖"In fact, they were both involved," a source told The Telegraph.
A senior European official and two Ukrainian sources confirmed this to the publication.
Trump himself stated today that the US was not involved in the restrictions, while an American official, in a comment to AFP, denied that the president had issued such an order.
Zelenskyy reported that Starshield's capabilities are being partially restored, but its previous speed parameters have not been restored.
