At a parliamentary commission meeting, he said he learned of this while on vacation. His superiors told him that "an order came from above without explanation." He was ordered to process the transfer as quickly as possible—faster than normal procedures.

In his Facebook post, Druzenko attributes his transfer to his criticism of the authorities.

"I have criticized the ineffective actions, particularly those of President Zelenskyy. For the third year, I have been saying that our goal should be Ukraine's survival, not Russia's destruction. I don't believe that the only way is to destroy, defeat, or dismember Russia. I believe that Ukraine's interests in this war should be much more important than Russia's," the head of the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital stated at a meeting of the VSK.
