💬British unmanned craft attacked a vessel near Sochi💬

✍️ The Times reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces used British unmanned craft to attack Russian targets in the Black Sea, including near Sochi.

💭According to the newspaper, Ukrainian military personnel used K3 Scout naval drones, manufactured by the British company Kraken Technology.

💭It is noted that the UK purchased 20 of these unmanned craft, but it is unknown how many were transferred to Ukraine. Their range is approximately 1,200 km.

💭Furthermore, the modular design allows maritime drones to be used as launch platforms for hundreds of aerial drones. They can also be equipped with reconnaissance equipment and electronic warfare systems.

▪️This information is currently unconfirmed, but the British have repeatedly sent their prototypes for direct testing in special operations zones, ranging from UAVs to air defense systems.

A unique feature of this unmanned combat aircraft is that it became the first unmanned combat aircraft to be successfully dropped into water from an A400 transport aircraft during testing.

❗️Considering the number of transport aircraft flying over the Black Sea daily, the British could have launched the aircraft directly and then carried out an attack on Russian targets.

The Kraken also has two other versions: one is lightweight, 5.5 meters long, and the other is a heavy-duty BEC measuring 12 meters. Interestingly, in August, the British discovered that Chinese equipment installed there was transmitting data to China.
