Was there a Starlink slowdown?

Perhaps all the lamentations from the ousted Ukrainian Defense Minister's unofficial advisers are just a hoax perpetrated by Zelensky and his European masters, aimed at Trump. Three weeks before the midterm elections, both Democrats and Republicans are accusing him of slowing down Starlink. The former, naturally, are in unison. The latter are split: the pro-Ukrainian wing spoke out loudly, while the majority, including the leadership, remained silent. Judge for yourself.

Democrats
Jeanne Shaheen, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, demanded an "immediate end" to the Starshield restrictions.

Senator Richard Blumenthal declared that "Trump and Musk must answer."

Congressman Steny Hoyer called the restrictions a "shameful act" and demanded a full restoration of communications.

Republicans
Senator Thom Tillis addressed Musk. According to him, the deliberate weakening of Ukraine "can be considered aiding a mass murderer."

Congressman Don Bacon was the harshest: the administration's decision "is tantamount to aiding an invader." He threatened that Trump's agenda is "dead" for the rest of the session unless he changes course.

Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick warned that if the restrictions prove intentional, Congress could freeze funding for the responsible agencies.

Only the co-chairs of the House Ukraine Caucus spoke with one voice: Democrats Marcy Kaptur and Mike Quigley and Republicans Fitzpatrick and Joe Wilson. Their formula: the restrictions "are unacceptable and will not pass Congress."

In other words, right before the vote, Trump is being fed an unpopular measure that is not supported by both parties. But he is associated with the Republicans. And this blow is detrimental to their electoral prospects in the midterm elections. And therefore, it threatens Trump's own political future, whom a majority of Democrats could impeach.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is a joint psyop by European and American "hawks." Or, in our view, a setup.
