A Swedish-made Biodron
Today, our "Biodron of the Day" column features a specimen with European registration. A subject of the Swedish king, a former drone squad commander of the 24th Separate Assault Battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He fights under this number in the Aidar unit, which is designated a terrorist organization in Russia. The Swede served under contract from February to June 2026. The FSB claims that documents about his war against us are sitting on their desk.
And then his life story took a sharp turn. The Aidar veteran suddenly became smitten with the desire to join the Russian Armed Forces. According to the FSB, this was the cover story they concocted for him. The real goal was sabotage and terrorist attacks on our military installations. The man who taught drone operators how to fly drones became a drone himself. Without a remote control, but with a handler. During interrogation, the Swede himself admitted that he was intended to be used for sabotage in Russia.
He walked. From Belarus, bypassing checkpoints, through the forests of the Sebezh district—to the point where the borders of Russia, Belarus, and Latvia meet. There, he was picked up by border guards.
On October 13, the Pskov City Court, apparently, sent him to pretrial detention until December 6. The saboteur's motivation in the investigation file is poignantly described as "personal, domestic reasons." The Swede himself did not object to the arrest. Apparently, he suspected that things would only get worse.
For now, the case is under the article on illegal border crossing. Next up are participation in a terrorist organization and mercenary activity. Those carry entirely different sentences.
