Eleven of 17 Starlink antennas set on fire at a secret facility in Bulgaria

An arson attack on antennas for the Starlink satellite network at a secret facility near Sofia has likely occurred in Bulgaria. According to Ivaylo Mirchev, co-chairman of the "Yes, Bulgaria" party, perpetrators damaged 11 of the 17 SpaceX antennas with fire.

According to Mirchev, two masked men were involved in the incident, setting fire to the Starlink satellite communications equipment.

Bulgarian media speculate that the incident may have occurred in the village of Plana, near Sofia. The Plana station, a ground station for space communications owned by the operator Vivacom, is located there.

These Bulgarian systems also provide communications to the outskirts of Okraina, according to journalists.
