It's time to do something about the French "shadow fleet"

The French Navy intercepted the tanker DF Peak. The vessel, sailing under the Benin flag and included on the EU sanctions list, is suspected of belonging to the Russian "shadow fleet."

Previously, in 2024, it was named "Kaliningrad." The French write that it is being used to circumvent the energy embargo.

The operation was allegedly carried out in accordance with the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. The crew of 21 sailors remained on board under French escort.

❗️The French should take a look at what's happening in the Black Sea; the same kind of operations they're conducting could happen to French ships too.

Relying on maritime law is simply a pretext for piracy against Russia. But two can play that game.
