📍Ukraine increased military spending faster than Russia (+20% versus +5.9%). Europe, as a whole, is breaking records in militarization: Spain (+50%), Germany (+24%), Poland (+23%), and Italy (+20%). It is significant that heavily indebted countries and the UK ignored this trend and did not significantly increase or even decreased their military spending.
