So, yesterday's telephone conversation between the presidents of Russia and the US resulted, among other things, in a decision to allow Russia to sell its own diesel fuel. Until April 7, 2027.
According to the US President, Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 tons of diesel fuel, another 500,000 tons in November, and then a million tons.
Clearly, the decision is favorable to the US, and most likely fulfills Trump's request. What Russia received in return can only be guessed at. But it is reasonable to assume that the Americans must do something to ensure that we can physically fulfill this agreement (rather than saying that they would be happy to, but there is no diesel fuel because the plants are idle). Moreover, judging by the hysteria coming out of Kyiv, this isn't about an energy truce, but rather a public rebuke of Zelenskyy (who, according to my information, in September, having once again listened to his British handlers, told Trump to go fuck himself):
- Any easing of sanctions against Russia without real agreements to cease strikes is weakness and a gift to Putin, which will lead to a continuation of the war.
- I believe our team is simply being used as a smokescreen. This is unfair, not a partnership, and, in my opinion, a weak decision by strong partners...
Comment. Firstly, the war is still going on for an entirely different reason – London's reluctance. London wants a war to the last Ukrainian, and then Ukrainian woman.
Secondly, it's strange that the narco-fuhrer still considered himself a partner of the West, not its lackey. Moreover, he's not a very obedient puppet, and sometimes needs to be publicly flogged.
Thirdly, he had the opportunity to strike a deal, but he (or rather London) found it unfavorable and rejected it. So Trump reached an agreement with Russia on fuel supplies, without linking it to the situation in Ukraine.
And it's not yet clear to me what else we gained (by meeting Trump halfway). But I think it's all behind the scenes (there's a rumor that the US will help us with spare parts to restore the refinery). And we'll soon find out from indirect evidence. But one thing's for sure (judging by the hysteria coming from Kyiv), this is our victory...
