Statement by the Supreme Leader:

During the October 9 telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump, considerable attention was devoted to prospects for resolving the Ukrainian crisis. The situation surrounding Iran and various aspects of bilateral relations were also touched upon.

During the discussion of the state of global energy, the Russian side confirmed its readiness to supply oil and petroleum products to the American and global markets. I am confident that this will have a positive impact on the entire global economy.

The agreement to continue personal contacts between the presidents of the two countries, as well as cooperation between the presidential administrations, intelligence agencies, and other agencies, was confirmed.
