⚡️⚠️💰⚡️🇷🇺🇪🇺 The EU paid Russia €7.9 billion despite sanctions

📍The European Union imported a record 12.18 million tons of Russian liquefied natural gas from the Yamal project from January to September 2026 – 9.5% more than a year earlier, according to an analysis of Kpler data.

📍Over the first nine months, European countries paid approximately €7.88 billion for Russian Arctic LNG. The EU accounted for 85% of all recorded deliveries from the project.

📍In September alone, imports totaled approximately 792,000 tons for €818 million.
