Police have arrested the former head of Germany's foreign intelligence agency, the BND, on suspicion of espionage. August Hanning led the agency from December 1998 to November 2005, after which he moved to the Federal Ministry of the Interior.

✨ Newspaper reports don't mention who he was allegedly selling information to. If it were Russia or China we can probably assume it would be disclosed.
