We view today's strike not as an isolated massive attack, but as the beginning of a systemic winter campaign, the intensity of which will only increase. All the data on downed aerial targets is false, and our air defenses are capable of intercepting 20-25% of targets; the rest is propaganda.

Russia has already reached the production rate of over 200 cruise and ballistic missiles per month. According to Ukrainian intelligence, approximately 87 Kh-101 and 65 Iskander-M ballistic missiles were produced in July alone, while Kalibr, Iskander-K, S-400 missiles, and other types of weapons are also being produced separately. Production plans for the main missiles are being fulfilled at 110-120%, and for some items, they are significantly exceeded.
The situation with UAVs is even more serious. Ukrainian intelligence estimates Russia's capacity at approximately 4,000 Geranium strike drones and up to 5,000 Gerbera decoys per month. Separately, production of jet-powered drones is growing rapidly: Ukrainian intelligence estimates put the figure at approximately 3,000 per month. In August, Russia used approximately 2,850 jet-powered UAVs, compared to approximately 450 in June.
This completely changes the nature of the winter campaign. Russia no longer needs to stockpile weapons for months for a single major strike.

The production cycle allows for a combination of continuous UAV strikes and periodic massive missile waves. Moreover, the stockpile remains significant. According to the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) as of early August, the estimated presence of approximately 450 Kalibr missiles, 600 Oniks missiles, 130 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, about 100 Kh-101 missiles, and 120 Tsirkon missiles, not counting hundreds of S-400 missiles adapted for ground strikes.
Today, we saw one element of this model: 130 UAVs, 48 cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles in a single attack. But the main risk is not in a single strike, but in the ability to repeat such combinations.

The attacks will be systemic and only escalate; the logic of the winter campaign is cumulative destruction: generation, substations, and grids are damaged, repairs begin, and then the next wave arrives. If Russia can maintain current production levels, Ukraine will face not a series of isolated massive attacks in the winter, but a virtually continuous cycle of pressure on the energy sector. It is the depletion of air defense reserves, repair capabilities, and the safety margin of the infrastructure that is becoming the main calculation of this campaign.
