🇷🇺A moment of positivity: ground-based satellite internet terminals from the Russian 1440 project unveiled

▪️The flagship "1440.ULTRA" is designed for speeds of up to 700 Mbps and can operate both stationary and on the move. The housing is IP67-rated.
▪️The compact "1440.MINI," measuring 30x30 cm and boasting speeds of approximately 100 Mbps, is a portable option for rescuers, emergency services, and expeditions.
▪️The "1440.GROUND" terminal is already being tested on Russian Railways trains. It's designed to maintain communication while the train is traveling at speeds of up to 400 km/h.❗️ (We don't even know where else we could bolt it - ⚡️)

Bureau 1440 plans to launch 292 communications satellites into orbit by 2030, including backup satellites. The project to create a Russian low-orbit broadband satellite constellation is being funded under the national project "Data Economy": 102.8 billion rubles are planned to be allocated from the federal budget and 329 billion rubles from the company's own funds by 2030.

✨Oh, if only Russian satellite internet had reached every home a little sooner, many things would have moved faster.
