60 billion rubles will be spent on internet blocking in Russia over the next three years.

This is almost double the planned 32 billion rubles two years ago. Around 20 billion rubles will be spent annually on upgrading the TSPU (the equipment through which operators filter internet traffic).

Experts attribute the increase in costs, among other things, to rising component prices and a shortage of powerful processors and memory, Forbes reports.
